The most common questions
What almost everyone asks when they look at Webeas for the first time.
What is the catch? Why free?
No catch. The free site carries a small "Built with Webeas" link in the footer — that is the whole price; on a paid plan you hide it with one switch. We want to earn on plans and modules, not on catching you out.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, even on the free plan. Connect a domain you already own in a few steps and we sort out the security certificate. Without paying, a small Webeas link stays in the footer.
Can I leave whenever I want?
Yes. No contracts and no notice periods — cancel anytime and the site runs to the end of the paid period. On a paid plan you can also download the whole site and take it with you.
Is my data safe?
The site runs on Cloudflare infrastructure in the EU, content is backed up before every publish, and personal data is handled under GDPR. The cookie banner is included even on the free plan.
I have several locations. Will it cope?
Yes. Each location can have its own site with its own address and opening hours — all managed from one admin under a single login.
Getting started
Before the first page exists: what you need and how long it takes.
What do I need? Do I have to install anything?
A browser and an email address. Nothing to install, nothing to update and nowhere for a virus to land — the site runs with us and you manage it over the internet. You do not need a domain up front.
How soon is a change visible on the site?
You publish with one button and the pages are regenerated at once. A visitor who just opened the site may see the old version for a minute — that is how long the cache holds it, and that cache is why the site loads instantly.
Can I pick a template, or will AI build the site?
Either. Start from a finished template and rewrite the texts and photos, or tell the AI what you do and for whom and it assembles a first version from our building blocks. The result is always a draft you then adjust.
How many sites can I have?
Up to 3 free sites per account, and as many paid ones as you like. You switch between them in the admin and their data never mixes — handy for several locations, or for trying a new look next to the old one.
Do I have to enter a card?
No. The Start plan is free with no time limit — it is not a trial that ends. You enter a card only when you buy a plan or a module yourself.
Can I really do this myself?
Editing texts and photos, yes — click and type. If you get stuck, write to us; and if you would rather not touch it at all, we will do it for you.
How much of your time does it take?
Building or moving takes minutes. Content takes the longest — the texts and photos you already have. An ordinary site is done in an afternoon.
Do I need a domain first?
No. Your site runs at yourcompany.webeas.com right away and you can connect a domain later — it works on the free plan too.
What if I do not like it?
You pay nothing up front, so there is nothing to cancel. And you can download your site as a ZIP and leave with it any time.
Pricing and payments
What is free, what costs money and what happens if you stop paying.
How do payments work and who holds my card number?
Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card number never reaches us — you enter it on their page. Invoices, card changes and cancellation live in the Stripe customer portal, linked from the admin.
What happens if I stop paying?
The site does not disappear. It moves to the free plan, the content stays and paid features lock; the “Built with Webeas” badge returns to the footer. If a payment merely fails, we email you and leave time to fix it before the subscription ends.
If I buy a module mid-period, do I pay for the whole month?
No, only for the rest of the period — the difference is charged immediately and pro rata. If you cancel something, it runs to the end of the paid period and the unused part becomes credit towards the next payment.
I have several sites. Will it be cheaper?
Yes. Every additional paying site is 5 % off, up to 25 %. It counts sites that pay anything — a free site with one bought module counts too.
How much AI is included?
Every plan has a monthly allowance of AI actions — 30 on Start, more on paid plans. Building a page, improving a text or translating differ in cost, so they count differently; if you need more, you buy a pack once, not another subscription.
Will I get an invoice?
Yes, for every payment, in the Stripe portal along with your payment history. We are VAT registered under the details in the terms and the document carries everything it should.
What does it cost to have you build or change the site?
600 CZK per hour, every started hour counted. You get an estimate of scope and price up front, free and with no obligation — until you approve it, we do not start and you pay nothing.
Can I stop paying any time?
Yes, cancel whenever you like. The site does not disappear — paid parts return to the free version and your content stays yours.
Can I mix the free site with single modules?
Yes. Buy any module on its own without a plan — and switch to a plan later: Premium includes nine modules, Max all of them.
Are modules paid monthly or yearly?
Your choice. Monthly, or yearly — paying for a year means two months free, same as with plans.
What does "2 months free" mean?
Pay yearly and you pay for ten months instead of twelve. There is no other condition.
Do prices include VAT?
We are not VAT payers, so no VAT is added. The price you see is the price you pay.
Domain and web address
Your own address, the certificate, and what to do when DNS is not your thing.
What address does the site have before I connect a domain?
It gets an address like your-site.webeas.com and works exactly the same on it. You can connect your own domain any time later, on the free plan too.
Do you sell domains?
No. You register and pay for the domain at your registrar and it stays yours — we neither hold nor sell it. You only point it at us, and we issue and renew the HTTPS certificate automatically.
How long until the domain works?
DNS changes usually spread within tens of minutes, occasionally by the next day — that is the internet, not us. We issue the certificate as soon as we see the records.
I cannot set up DNS. What now?
The admin shows the exact records to enter at your registrar and whether they already match. If you are unsure, write to us — we will go through it with you and point out where to find it at the usual registrars.
The editor and your content
Texts, photos, pages — and how to go back when something breaks.
Can I go back to an older version of a page?
Yes. Every page keeps a history and a backup of the whole site is taken before each publish. The free plan holds the last 10 versions, paid plans more — and restoring is never charged for.
How many pages and articles can I have?
We do not limit the number of pages or articles. The only limit is file space: 1 GB on Start, 5 GB on Premium and 10 GB on Max.
What about photos — do I have to resize them?
You do not. Every photo becomes webp, smaller variants for phones and a blurred placeholder that shows instantly. Those versions count towards your space, as does the backup of the original, which we keep for 30 days.
Can Webeas edit a photo too?
Yes — cropping, filters, text and shapes are part of the image editor, and so is AI background removal. The image editor belongs to the full version of the Gallery module.
Can I put my own HTML, CSS or script in a page?
Yes, a custom code block is part of the editor. Custom code in the site head (a tracking snippet or Google Tag Manager) comes with the full version of the Advanced SEO module.
Will the site work on a phone?
Yes, and you do not have to do anything extra for it — elements stack by themselves and photos are sent in a smaller size. You can check the result on your phone straight from the preview.
Customers, orders and selling
Forms, bookings, invoices, newsletters — and how much of it is free.
How do people contact me or order?
A contact block and one custom form are free on every site, and we never limit how many messages come in. The message arrives by email and stays in the admin inbox; spam protection is on.
Does it handle bookings?
Yes. The visitor picks a service, a day and a free slot; you get an email and the booking appears in your overview. Automatic confirmation stays off until you switch it on — so nobody takes a slot you did not want to give.
Can I sell and take card payments through the site?
The Selling module runs on Stripe Connect: the money goes straight to your own Stripe account and never passes through us. The free tier takes a 5 % commission, the full version none. One thing is not finished — the approval of our platform at Stripe, without which your account cannot be connected. Write to us before you plan a shop launch around it.
Will you issue invoices for me?
The Invoicing module issues documents in your name from your details — VAT, numbering series and a payment QR code. Free for 5 different customers, with no limit on documents. You are responsible for their correctness; we do not send them anywhere for you.
Can I send a newsletter?
Yes. Sign-up is double opt-in, every email carries an unsubscribe link and unsubscribing is immediate. Free you send 50 emails a month, on Premium 250.
What is the AI assistant for?
It answers visitors from the content of your site — opening hours, prices, allergens, free slots. Free it handles 50 messages a month, with the full module 500.
Google and visitors
What we do for search engines ourselves and what stays with you.
Will my site get onto Google?
The site gets everything it needs for it: clean HTML, a sitemap, canonical links, sharing previews and fast loading. When Google lists you and how high is not something we — or anyone — decide; whoever promises first place is promising what they do not hold.
Can I set the title and description shown in search myself?
Yes, per page, with a preview of how the result looks. The Advanced SEO module adds a free score against your keyword — title, description, H1, text length, alt texts and links.
Do you create sitemap.xml and robots.txt?
Both files are written at every publish and you need do nothing for it. The sitemap holds only what is really published — drafts and pages marked noindex are not in it.
Will I see how many people visited?
Yes, and without cookies — nothing is stored in the visitor’s browser for the sake of measuring. Free you see traffic, the trend and the most visited pages for the last 30 days; sources, countries and campaigns are in the full version.
Can the site handle several languages?
Yes. One extra language is free, hreflang, a language switcher and its own address included; unlimited languages are in the full version. Translate by hand, or let AI help.
Moving from another site
Moving content, search rankings and what happens to the old site.
What does the migration cost?
Nothing. The migration is free — we read your existing site and bring over pages, articles and images. Whatever could not be moved is listed in the migration log.
How do you check the site is really mine?
Before we move anything, we ask you to add a DNS record or a file to the old site. The crawl and the list of pages are made from publicly available pages only, exactly as a search engine does it.
Will I lose my search rankings?
Nobody can promise you rankings — that is up to the search engine, not to us. What is in our hands, we do: page and image addresses are kept literally the same, ugly ones included, titles and descriptions come along, and old redirects keep working. The search engine finds the same content in the same place.
Does the site have to be WordPress?
No. We do not rely on detecting the system — we read the site the way a visitor sees it. WordPress, Wix, hand-written HTML or something nobody knows: all the same to us.
What happens to my old site?
It keeps running until you switch the domains yourself. Until then the new site sits with us as a preview nobody else can see.
What if something cannot be moved?
We tell you. Every migration has a downloadable log with a line for everything that passed and everything that did not — nothing disappears quietly. Pages that live entirely in JavaScript we can render like a browser.
How long does it take?
The map takes minutes. The move depends on the size — a few pages right away, hundreds in batches. You watch it in the admin and do not have to be there.
I depend on one particular plugin. What now?
Tell us what it does. We will say straight away whether a module covers it, whether we can add it, or whether WordPress is simply the better choice for you. Talking you into something you do not need helps neither of us.
Do you have anything like Elementor or Gutenberg?
We have our own editor: you click into the page and type as you would in a document, and build sections from a ready-made library. AI will also assemble a whole page once you tell it what belongs there.
Is Webeas open source?
It is not. That is exactly why every site has a ZIP export — download the finished pages any time and host them anywhere. You will not be locked in, even though you do not get the platform source.
What if it does not suit me?
You pay nothing up front and your old site keeps running until you switch the domains yourself. If you do not like the result, you simply do not switch them and nothing has happened.
Backups, security and data
Where the data sits, who can reach it and how far back you can go.
Where does my data physically sit?
The site and files on Cloudflare infrastructure, the database at Neon in Frankfurt — both in the EU. Some other processors (sending email, payments) operate outside the EU as well; they are listed in the privacy policy along with the basis for the transfer.
How often do you back up and how far back can I go?
In four layers: page history, a backup before every publish, a weekly content backup and a bin for deleted files. The free plan keeps 10 site versions and 4 weeks of backups, paid plans considerably longer.
Can you see into my admin?
Not until you invite us. You grant support access yourself for 1, 7 or 30 days and every entry of ours shows in your log. Without an invitation we cannot get into your site.
Can I protect my login with a second factor?
Yes, two-factor authentication is in the account settings and comes with backup codes in case you lose your phone. You can also sign in with Google.
Do I have to deal with a cookie banner and GDPR?
The cookie banner is part of the free site — all of it, including categories, a consent log and Consent Mode v2. Our own statistics use no cookies, so they do not require a banner; the moment you add a third-party tracking code, the banner holds it back until the visitor agrees.
What if the service goes down?
We work to keep it running around the clock, but we do not guarantee a specific level of availability and there is no point claiming otherwise — we are a small company, not a data centre with night shifts. Maintenance with downtime is planned at night, and published sites are static files on the Cloudflare network, so an admin outage does not take your site down.
Account, support and leaving
Signing in, getting help, and taking your site with you.
How fast do you reply?
Within 48 hours, usually sooner. You are writing to the person who builds the system, not to a desk picking from prepared sentences — which is also why the answer can be a straight yes or no.
Can I give access to a colleague or a client?
Not yet. There is one account and one login — several users with their own permissions are still ahead of us. Today people either share a single login, which we cannot recommend, or send their content to whoever runs the site.
I forgot my password. What now?
On the sign-in page you can have a link sent to set a new one. If you registered with Google you have no password — sign in with the same button as the first time.
Can I download my site and leave?
Yes. The Site export module downloads the finished site as a ZIP with static HTML, CSS, images and SEO files — upload it to any ordinary hosting. Account data including issued documents can be exported any time. We are not open source, though, and we do not release the platform’s source code.
How do I cancel the account and what happens to the data?
You delete the account and individual sites yourself in the admin; it is confirmed by typing the name. Deletion is immediate and irreversible — no bin, no cooling-off period. Export whatever you want to keep first.
What happens to a free site I leave alone?
A free site where nobody signs in, edits anything or visits for 183 days starts going to sleep — and every step is announced by email first. Signing in is enough to keep it running.
Can I really build a site myself if I am not technical?
Yes — that is the whole point. You click a text and type as you would in a document, and swap a photo by dragging one in. If you get stuck, write to us; and if you would rather not touch it at all, we will do it for you.
Does it work for my line of business?
Most sites here belong to salons, cafés, tradespeople, clinics, photographers and tutors. You do not have to be one of them — tell us what you need and we will say straight away whether a module covers it.
I have a site elsewhere. Do I lose anything by moving?
We keep page addresses literally the same, titles, descriptions and old redirects included — the search engine finds the same content in the same place. Nobody can promise you rankings, though, and neither do we. Your current site keeps running and nothing goes public until you say so. Moving is free.
What will it cost?
A basic site is free forever, with no card. Paid plans start at CZK 249 a month and unlock the full versions of the modules.
Could you build the whole site for me?
We can. Tell us what belongs on the site and send the material — copy, photos, your price list. We estimate the hours, and start once you approve the estimate; we charge CZK 600 an hour. The finished site then sits in your account and you keep editing it yourself.
